I watch it right after deleting so many blank spaces between tables...I think they did not fix the probles with IE 7.

what ever you did completely corrupted the table displays, so I have reverted it to the original

I just deleted some black spaces between tables and add the name of the ship to the header, was still showing the default "Shipname"...

There are two men here
Vasili Yakovlevich Chichagov (1767 - 1817) and
Pavel Yakovlevich Chichagov (1726 - 1809)
These are father and son, maybe the admiral is sometimes acting as a private captain as the dates you give don't coincide for the two positions except in 1789 when the son is the flag captain of the father.

Chigagova seems to be the serving captain of the Rotislav at the same time as it was serving as his flag as admiral. I was under the impression that Flag officers were generally hosted by a chosen ship complete with its own captain, while Commodores generally retained their own ship.
Meh, maybe thats just how the Russian roll.
