there are two ships listed as being the Santa Rosa captured at Cape Passaro. I assume that this one is the wrogn one, and its actually the ships purchased in 1715 that was captrued?

Interesting that these ships were apparently still in existance 13 years later, especially as none of them appear to have been taken into service by the RN. Does Harbron give any primary sources for this? or an inidcation of what they had been doing for the last 13 years.

I think the discrepancy in launch date could be confusion over the laying down date and actual launch. I would tend to side with the Spanish source on this one unless we have more substantial evidence.
